Things are getting serious between Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend Jim Curtis.
On Sunday, Nov. 2, the actress made her relationship with the hypnotherapist Instagram official as she paid tribute to him on his 50th birthday. And now, a source tells PEOPLE that Aniston, 56, is “very happy and in a great place” with Curtis.
“She’s been glowing. Everything in her life has come together and she’s excited about it. Jim’s the best,” the source says. “Her friends love him. He’s calm, very warm and incredibly supportive. He’s brought a really steady and positive energy into her life.”

Curtis is “fascinated by her career — both as an actress and businesswoman — and loves being by her side to support her,” the source shares.
“He fits right in with her friends. He’s social, easygoing and everyone loves having him around,” the source adds of Curtis, whom they say Aniston is “having fun” with. “It all feels light, natural and really good. It’s exactly where she wants to be right now.”
The pair were first photographed together in July enjoying a yacht vacation in Europe alongside Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka. The source says they’d “known each other for a while before things turned romantic.”
The romance “wasn’t rushed at all — it just felt easy,” the insider adds. “They are spending the holidays together with her friends.”

Since PEOPLE confirmed Aniston was dating the hypnotherapist in July, he’s been by her side to support her at various events, including the premiere of The Morning Show season 4 in New York City.
He also joined her at a launch event for LolaVie, her haircare brand, in August, where he was said to be “very happy to be there to support Jen.”
